Men’s & Women’s Lacrosse Clubs begin league play

The men’s & women’s lacrosse clubs will be competing in regional leagues this coming spring semester. The Men’s Lacrosse Club will be a full member of the Southeastern Lacrosse Conference (SELC). They will play 12 games in total for the upcoming spring season. Their opponents include: Coastal Carolina, University of North Georgia, Reinhardt, Georgia Southern, Emory, Kennesaw State, Georgia College & State University, Wofford, Asbury, Columbus State, and Point. Eight of their games will be considered division match-ups with a chance to advance to the regional tournament at the end of the season. The club will host their home games at Panthersville. The Women’s Lacrosse will be in their first year as a full member of the Southeastern Women’s Lacrosse League (SWLL). They will play a total of 10 games for their upcoming season. Their opponents include: Georgia Southern, Auburn, Southern Mississippi, University of Mississippi, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Kennesaw State, Emory, and Clemson. Based on league records, they will have an opportunity to qualify for the League Championships. The club will host their home games at Panthersville.  Game schedule to be announced.
