Safety Programs

Recreational Services offers CPR, First Aid and Lifeguarding courses. These courses are designed to train individuals to overcome reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening conditions.

Registration starts January 11 and closes 7 days prior to the class date, unless noted differently. Register 

 

Adult CPR, AED and First Aid with Anaphylaxis and
Epinephrine Auto-Injector:
Earn certification in adult CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and first aid with anaphylaxis and epinephrine auto-injector training.
January 30 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. $55 for students; $60 for members
February 6 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. $55 for students; $60 for members
February 19 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. $55 for students; $60 for members
March 6 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. $55 for students; $60 for members
March 27 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. $55 for students; $60 for members
April 10 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. $55 for students; $60 for members
April 23  10 a.m. - 5 p.m. $55 for students; $60 for members

Lifeguarding: Registration for this course closes two weeks prior to the class. This course will consist of an online portion to be completed prior to the first day of the in-person class. Students must be able to swim 500 yards, tread water for two minutes and complete a brick test before registering for the course. Upon completion, students will earn a certification in Lifeguarding, CPRO, AED, and First Aid.

Saturday: 9:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
