Safety Programs

Recreational Services offers CPR, first aid and water safety courses. These courses are designed to train individuals to overcome reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening conditions.

Registration starts August 24 and closes 7 days prior to the class date. Register 

 

Adult CPR, AED and First Aid with Anaphylaxis and
Epinephrine Auto-Injector:
Receive certification in adult CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and first aid with anaphylaxis and epinephrine auto-injector training.
September 4 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. $55 for students; $60 for members
September 12  10 a.m. - 5 p.m. $55 for students; $60 for members
September 26  10 a.m. - 5 p.m. $55 for students; $60 for members
October 10  10 a.m. - 5 p.m. $55 for students; $60 for members
October 24  10 a.m. - 5 p.m. $55 for students; $60 for members
December 5  10 a.m. - 5 p.m. $55 for students; $60 for members

Lifeguarding: Students must be able to swim 300 yards, tread water for 2 minutes and complete a brick test before registering for course. Upon completion, students will earn certifications in Lifeguarding, CPRO, AED, and First Aid.
November 5 - 7 Time TBD $125 for students; $150 for members
