About the Program 
Bored with the treadmill? Those who enjoy a group workout atmosphere should check out the free classes offered every semester! Members and fee paying guests may attend any of these classes as long as space permits. Those entering late are responsible for warming up and being prepared for class.

Below is the schedule of classes and descriptions of each type. All fitness classes are free of charge for current students and Recreation members!

 

Fall Semester
August 26 – December 9

Zumba® 12-12:50 p.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
Dance along with your instructor and friends for a class that includes cardio, muscular conditioning, balance, and flexibility. Dance to great music and get in a great workout without even realizing it!
Cycle 12-12:50 p.m. Studio B
A non-impact, calorie-blasting class that combines a foundation of cycling movements with motivational coaching and musical guidance. Participants set the intensity in this awesome class.
Ab Blast 5-5:20 p.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
A low impact, high energy, workout! This class uses intervals, plyometrics, circuit training and water resistance to improve cardiovascular and muscular endurance. Athletic attire recommended. Swimsuit is not required.
Circuit Training 5:30-6:20 p.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
Are you ready to put in work and have fun? This class will focus on total body conditioning using both strength training and cardiovascular exercise. High energy and popular music are used to push your limits and reach your fitness goals!
Vixen Workout 6:30-7:20 p.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
A dance fitness format that focuses not only on giving an amazing workout, but giving participants a safe space to dance, feel empowered, and gain confidence through the fun and community of a Vixen Workout. Workout and work it!

Barre Fitness 11-11:50 a.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
Barre Fitness: Barre is a great mix of strength and cardio. It is a dance-based class with strength elements added for the ultimate toning effect. Being a total body workout, each class you will work arms, legs/glutes, and abdominals. This class is fast-paced and done to upbeat popular music!
Vixen Workout 12-12:50 p.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
A dance fitness format that focuses not only on giving an amazing workout, but giving participants a safe space to dance, feel empowered, and gain confidence through the fun and community of a Vixen Workout. Workout and work it!
Boot Camp 4-4:50 p.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
Boot Camp will get participants' muscles working by incorporating aerobic and anaerobic activity using all different kinds of equipment!
HIIT Boot Camp 5:30-6:20 p.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
This high-intensity interval class combines our two favorite things; HIIT and Bootcamp! Combining plyometrics, weight training, and cardio drills with HIIT is a great way will challenge the whole body.
Cardio Blast 5:30-6:20 p.m. Studio B
A perfect combination of cardiovascular work and sculpting moves that will keep you coming back for more. This class uses different cardio formats to keep your heart pumping!

Express30 12-12:30 p.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
Get a total body workout in just 30 minutes! Great for those who are short on time, but know the value of a great workout.

Panther Sculpt 4-4:50 p.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
Participants can grab their weights and get ready for a total body muscular conditioning class that will work every muscle from head to toe. This non-aerobic class uses weights, steps, resistance bands and more!
Ab Blast 5-5:20 p.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
Tired of the same old crunches? This class will have participants doing a variety of exercises to shape and strengthen their core muscles.
Cardio Kickboxing 5:30-6:20 p.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
This class use strikes, kicks, blocks and a variety of kickboxing skills for an intense total body workout! Through drills and choreography improve your cardio conditioning, speed, power, coordination, and balance.

Dance Fit 6:30-7:20 p.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
A high energy fitness class including aerobic dancing to all your favorite music. Get ready to move, sweat, and have a great time!

Core Concepts 11-11:50 a.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
Learn how to safely and effectively train the primary muscle groups of your core for lasting results.
Dance Fit 12-12:50 p.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
A high energy fitness class including aerobic dancing to all your favorite music. Get ready to move, sweat, and have a great time!
Stretch and Flow 12:15-12:45 p.m. Studio B
This class combines classic yoga poses and current music to create a fun and relaxing atmosphere for participants to work on their flexibility and mobility.
Step 4-4:50 p.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
Participants use steps and risers to condition their legs and improve their cardiovascular and muscular endurance. This class continues to deliver outstanding workouts each and every time!
Panther Sculpt 5:30-6:20 p.m. Aerobic/Dance Studio
Participants can grab their weights and get ready for a total body muscular conditioning class that will work every muscle from head to toe. This non-aerobic class uses weights, steps, resistance bands and more!
POUND® 6-6:50 p.m. Studio B
Feel like a Rockstar with this full-body jam session inspired by the infectious, energizing, and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. Class size is limited to 15 participants.
