Fitness Classes

About the Program 
Bored with the treadmill? Those who enjoy a group workout atmosphere should check out the free classes offered every semester! Eligible participants may attend any of these classes as long as space permits. Those entering late are responsible for warming up and being prepared for class.

Classes may be canceled due to consistent low attendance.

Schedule

Registration opens 48 hours before the day of the class and registration closes 5 minutes before class start time. Check-in closes 5 minutes after class start time. Due to limited class sizes, only registered participants will be allowed to enter the studio.

Classes occur in the Student Recreation Center. Descriptions of each class can be found on the registration page. Register

Enjoy the start of Summer on our pool patio then cool off with a dip in the pool. Participate in a 60-minute session of outdoor Gym Yoga.

Yoga for Strength June 30 3-4 p.m. Studio B
Enhance your practice by focusing on strength work within a yoga setting. By working with our bodies to promote functional strength, we will not only see increased stability in our asana but in everyday life.
Throwback Thursday, ATL Cycle & Stretch July 7 4-4:45 p.m. Studio B
Join us for 30 minutes of cycling and 15 minutes of stretch in this ATL-themed cycle and stretch. Sprint and then stretch to some of your favorite tracks from the 90s and early 2000s.
Belly Dance Combos July 12 5-5:45 p.m. Studio B
Learn the art of building show-stopping Belly Dance combinations. No experience is necessary.
