Fitness Classes

About the Program 
Bored with the treadmill? Those who enjoy a group workout atmosphere should check out the free classes offered every semester! Eligible participants may attend any of these classes as long as space permits. Those entering late are responsible for warming up and being prepared for class.

Classes may be canceled due to consistent low attendance.

Virtual Schedule
Our virtual fitness classes will be offered May 10 - 28 & June 7 - July 23.

The days reflect when the post will appear on social media. Yoga (live) requires registration.

Pre-recorded

Virtual classes will be viewable on-demand and posted twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays on our social media platforms. Class formats will consist of a variety of the following: Circuit Training, Core Conditioning, and Gym Yoga.

Circuit Training
Are you ready to put in work and have fun? This class will focus on total body conditioning using both strength training and cardiovascular exercise. Push your limits and reach your fitness goals!

Core Conditioning
Strengthen your body’s center of power: the core! Learn to safely and effectively train the primary muscle groups of your core for lasting results.

Gym Yoga
This yoga class is a great way to improve flexibility, mobility, and balance while reducing stress and building mindfulness. All levels welcomed.


In-person Schedule

Registration opens 48 hours before the day of the class and registration closes 10 minutes before class start time. Due to limited class sizes, only registered participants will be allowed to enter the studio.

Classes occur in the Student Recreation Center. Descriptions of each class can be found on the registration page.

Start your day right with a good morning stretch! Join in on one hour of invigorating gym yoga.

Outdoor Boot Camp June 16 & July 15 4-5 p.m. Student Recreation Center - Pool Patio & Green Space
Enjoy some sun while you sweat! Participate in a 45-minute session of Circuit Training fitness class followed by 15-minutes of Stretch & Flow yoga-inspired stretch.

Aqua Boot Camp June 29 & July 21 4-5 p.m. Student Recreation Center - Leisure Pool
Do you enjoy circuit-style fitness training? Then you’ll love this water-based workout. Splash around and learn how to incorporate water resistance into your routine!
