FITNESS CLASSES
Georgia State University offers a wide variety of group fitness classes. From total body strength and conditioning to low impact spin, we have something for you. Classes are free for all members and registration is not required. Spots are available on a first come, first serve basis. We encourage members to arrive at least 5 minutes before class starts, for check-in and setting up any class equipment.

AfroFusion Dance Cardio - This Zumba-inspired class will leave you sweating and smiling while you dance to popular and classic Afrobeat music. It’s a dance cardio class like no other!
Barre - A Pilates inspired, low impact, full body workout that combines elements of ballet, yoga, and strength training.
Boxing - Punches, jabs, kicks, and uppercuts. You’ll learn it all in this boxing conditioning and technique class.
Build & Burn 30 - HIIT, strength, circuit training - we'll do it all! In this strength and cardio class, you will challenge your total body using dumbbells, bands, med balls, and bodyweight with dynamic and compound moves.
Build & Burn 45 - HIIT, strength, circuit training - we'll do it all! In this strength and cardio class, you will challenge your total body using dumbbells, bands, med balls, and bodyweight with dynamic and compound moves.
CIRCL Mobility - A fitness program from Zumba that combines movement and mindfulness to improve mobility and flexibility.
Dance Fusion - This rhythmic class celebrates the rhythmic nature of music and the graceful movement of dance intertwined. Participants will feel every beat as they stretch through the body and discover musical and rhythmic skills through dance. This class combines an array of dance styles including hip hop, contemporary, modern, jazz, afrobeats, and more!
Flow Yoga - This class teaches a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. Vinyasa can also help increase flexibility, strength, stability, calmness, and focus.
HIIT Pilates - Combing strength and flexibility, this low impact class kicks it up a notch with a high intensity interval training component.
Majorette Dance - In this entertaining dance style that intertwines hip hop and jazz, you’ll learn routines for the football stands and the field with familiar and new marching band music.
Mat Pilates - This mat-based Pilates workout focuses on core strength, flexibility, balance, and overall body awareness. The class will lengthen and strengthen the muscles while giving you a full-body workout.
Restorative Yoga - Restorative Yoga is a group fitness class focused on relaxation by positioning the body to settle into rest. Participants will partake in guided meditation and breath awareness to deepen their yoga practice. This class is a great way to reduce stress, relax the mind, restore the body, and build mindfulness. All levels welcomed.
Spin - In this non-impact cardio class with motivational coaching and high energy music, participants can set their own intensity for this instructor-guided ride. You will hill, drill, sprint, and jump your way through this indoor ride. All levels are welcomed.
Spin Ride & Reps - Cardio and weights in ONE class! A fusion of a spin class and strength training class, participants will improve their cardiovascular endurance and develop total body strength.
Step Aerobics - A low impact, cardio class where participants are stepping off and on a platform in a variety of patterns and routines.
Vinyasa Yoga - Increasing body awareness, strength, and flexibility by way of flowing sequences and poses.
Yoga - This class offers strength postures that will focus on building and engaging core strength, balance, and mindfulness.
Zumba - This Zumba fitness class includes cardio, muscular conditioning, balance, and flexibility – all with dance! Participants will dance along with a lively instructor as they work out to different kinds of lively tunes.
